Mario J Pabon was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and has always been fascinated by the Caribbean island's fascinating 500 year history.  After obtaining a bachelor's degree in Villanova University in Pennsylvania, he studied law in the University of Puerto Rico law school, and later joined the law firm of O'Neill & Borges, where he practiced as a litigator for 31 years.  He retired in 2008, and moved to Tampa, Florida, where he presently lives.

 The son of a celebrated Puerto Rican actor and director, all of his life Mario was exposed to and surrounded by scripts and imaginary storytelling.  Justifiable Evil is his first attempt to bring to national attention, through an action and adventure story, Puerto Rico's unique history, culture, and the spirit of its people.
